About Cornelia

Cornelia Ramsay

Hi, I'm Cornelia. I was born and grew up in Eastern Europe, an environment not very conductive for personal development and growth. I attended University, and attained a Degree in Engineering. With not many options, I worked as an Engineer for many years until the downfall of communism.

Many of the areas that had been denied myself and others were suddenly available. The chance to travel, and see other cultures outside the Eastern Block where miraculously opened, and I jumped at any opportunity offered.

I attended a Susan Jeffers Feel the Fear And Do It Anyway®, workshop in Dublin, Ireland, in 1999, when I was working there as a Marketing Consultant. That experience assisted me in exploring my own self development, and drastically improved my life.

From this experience, I have moved on to assist others in exploring their own fears, and dealing with them, to strengthen their resolve and improve the quality of their lives.

After that, I spent 10 years working as a Manager in Global Financial Institutions assisting my staff in their personal and career development.

In 2008, I immigrated to Sydney, Australia with my wonderful Australian husband and daughter.

As a Vocational Counselor, I assist Migrants and other Australians in their efforts to enter (or re-enter) the Australian workforce. This includes resume writing, job interview techniques, employability skills development and how to find employment.

I also use my vocational counseling skills to assist those returning to the workplace form long absences, maternity leave, illness or injury.

While enjoying working as a Vocational Counselor I am also attending university, to help develop my skills as an English teacher.
